Photodynamic Therapy
Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is a treatment that uses a drug, called a photosensitizer or photosensitizing agent, and a particular type of light. Together they produce a form of oxygen that kills nearby cells. This treatment is used to treat severely sun damaged skin, precancerous growths, acne, oily skin, large pores, rosacea and superficial skin cancers. After treatment you will notice improvement in your skin texture and tone, as well as decreased redness, flushing and broken capillaries.
